My Inspiration
Martin draws inspiration from the colour and texture of industrial subjects surrounding his studio at
One+2
Studios Balmain.
"What excites me about industrial subjects is the intriguing texture and vibrant colour which you might not notice at first glance.
My aim is to reveal the hidden beauty of these contrasts. I like to work with oil paint to create layers of textured colour and
isolate objects from their surroundings for a strong composition."
